The is the Green Comet, C/2022 E3 ZTF, captured on January 21st. It shows a prominent green coma, along with an interesting looking dust tail, and anti-dust tail structure. This comet was last seen 50,000 years ago when neanderthals roamed the Earth. It is currently on its way to closest approach on Feb 1st, and after this it will head back to the outer solar system, never to be seen again in our lifetimes.
This print of the comet was captured from dark skies in the Texas hill country, using two of my own telescopes and cameras.
