Hewett 1 is an absolutely gigantic planetary nebula in the constellation Sextans. It was discovered back in 2003, but in that time there has only been one other effort to photograph it. I came to know of the object myself while Oiii surveying through the constellation Sextans, and decided to give this object a fair shot since it is well-positioned for galaxy season, when there isn't much else to look at.
Processing the image was very difficult. Hewett 1 has an impressive size but not an impressive brightness. It is ridiculously faint, and it makes sense now why there are hardly any images of it out there!
