This is the ever-popular Sh2-308, a Wolf-Rayet nebula in the constellation Canis Major. I have never really spent time photographing it before, but it has a truly incredible Oiii structure, so I decided to go for it.
The Dolphin Head is quite bright, it is easily visible in broadband RGB data. Dark skies and a fast telescope make short work of this nebula. It is also surrounded by a very bright ISM region containing a lot of Oiii and H-alpha.
I captured this image with my triple telescope setup!
